Tekken: The Movie Review
When you thinking of Tekken you may think it might be as good as Fatal Fury or even Streetfigher. That is a big mistake, Tekken is probalby the worst movies made based on characters from the video games. It fails all expectations and thank god there wasn’t another movie made.
Action
Action is the better part of this movie, but good action and crappy storyline won’t make anime good. There are long and short battles but what the movie score low on action was because of one character. This character named Jun kept on getting in the way of the main character thus causing less action and was an upset.
Story
Tekken started strong in the beginning but loss track, they too had also the revenge concept but wasn’t able to execute it properly. As the movie progresses it starts to loose track, the storyline becomes very boring and at times makes you want to go to sleep or do something else in the mean time. Tekken tried to have a better storyline in the end by adding subplots but failed to do it properly and the movie was ended horribly.
Personal Opinion
The reason why I watched this movie was because I thought it could be good, I’ve heard it sucked but I wanted to see for myself. I liked the Tekken games and I wanted to see if the movie was any good, my hopes were brought down by the crappy storyline, characters and halfass action scenes.
Conclusion
Overall Tekken isn’t a very good anime, Tekken video game fans may like this anime but I highly doubt it, there are very few Tekken The Motion Picture fans but never the less there are fans and that is why the Tekken section is up on Anime Collision because of the fans.
