Although no official confirmation has yet been released, a Lucky Star OVA series is in production according to a promotional flyer found in the June issue of Comptiq Magazine.
Go! Comi revealed they have recently acquired the North American rights to Yuki Amemiya & Yukino Ichihara’s 07-Ghost manga, with plans to release it beginning in January 2009.
Bandai Entertainment has announced plans to screen The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo) at the ImaginAsian theaters in Los Angeles, New York City, and the Varsity Theater in Seattle. The NYC and LA screenings will be from June 13-19 and the Seattle screenings will be from August 29 to September 4.
The Seattle and Los Angeles film screenings will be subtitled, whereas the New York City screenings will be dubbed.

The weekly Shonen Jump magazine recently announced their “Jump Super Anime Tour,” a 10-city celebration of the magazine’s 40th anniversary. Features will include new anime video from series Dragonball, One Piece, and Tegami Bachi ~ Letter Bee. The Dragonball and One Piece specials are expected to include new video animation; this will also be the first time animation sequence for Letter Bee.
Animax has announced that the Kurozuka manga by Yumemakura Baku will be adapted into anime.
A live action film adaptation of Kenji Sonisih’s Neko Ramen manga and anime has been revealed. Minoru Kawasaki is expected to direct the movie.

Viz Media has revealed plans to release the second Naruto movie DVD on July 29, 2008 in North America. The MSRP is set at $29.98.
Moon Phase has reported that the previously revealed third Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime series will be released as an OVA later this year, not a televised series.
The China Daily newspaper has revealed that a new animated series entitled San Guo Yan Yi, created by Beijing Glorious Animation will begin airing simultaneously in Japan and China this June.
The Japanese website for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni has revealed that a second live action film adaptation is now in production. The first live action film is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on May 10.

TV Tokyo has posted a streaming trailer for the fifth Naruto film, Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna. The movie is scheduled to debut in Japanese theaters on August 2.
An anime adaptation for the 2006 light novel series Bakemonogatari by NisiOisin has been revealed. No further information has yet been released.
