  • Bleach DVD #6 Bleach DVD #6 is the beginning to one of the best story arcs in anime I have ever seen. Unlike most shounen anime, fights in the Bleach Soul Society arc are fast-paced, loaded with substance and never dull.

    Hikaru no Go DVD #10 This is a perfect example of an anime I've continuously put off to the side for later, and yet when i finally get aroudn to it I fall in love with the series and beat myself up for not viewing it earlier!

    Naruto the Movie DVD The latest mission for our favorite ninja team? Protect and escort a spoiled actress to her next film set. Oh, and keep her from running away of course!

    Ping Pong DVD Ping Pong is a great film that blew away all my expectations and completely changed my negative view towards live actions movies. The story of friendship development through competition is superb. This is a must-see.

World Cosplay Summit in New York, Australia

The World Cosplay Summit announced they will be expanding into Australia. The Animania convention will host the new international cosplay competition’s segment. Cosplayers from Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, and Thailand participated in the 2007 competition. Plans for the organization to include North America have been successful, The New York Anime Festival will be hosting WCS in the US. The Team USA cosplayers will be chosen at the New York Anime Festival on December 7, 2007. US finalists will be sent to the WCS finals in Japan in August 2008 and will be featured in an Anime Insider photo spread.
