  • Bleach DVD #6 Bleach DVD #6 is the beginning to one of the best story arcs in anime I have ever seen. Unlike most shounen anime, fights in the Bleach Soul Society arc are fast-paced, loaded with substance and never dull.

    Hikaru no Go DVD #10 This is a perfect example of an anime I've continuously put off to the side for later, and yet when i finally get aroudn to it I fall in love with the series and beat myself up for not viewing it earlier!

    Naruto the Movie DVD The latest mission for our favorite ninja team? Protect and escort a spoiled actress to her next film set. Oh, and keep her from running away of course!

    Ping Pong DVD Ping Pong is a great film that blew away all my expectations and completely changed my negative view towards live actions movies. The story of friendship development through competition is superb. This is a must-see.

New Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Live Action

The Japanese website for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni has revealed that a second live action film adaptation is now in production. The first live action film is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on May 10.

    i can name another 4-5 off hand.

    Nana (and its sequel), Honey&Clover, HanaKimi (this was a tv show), Meteor Garden (tv drama based on Hana Yori Dango), 20th Century Boys (planned), Monster (also planned), Death Note (and its ... 2 sequels?), Dragonball, Ace wo Nerae (tv show), etc etc etc.

    there are a lot! :) most of them aren't that good, but well. meh.
