The Anima 2008 International Film Festival will screen Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Tekkonkinkreet, all of which have been nominated in the feature film category. Other anime nominations include Franz Kafka’s A Country Doctor and Shinobi Black & White in the Short Animation category and Yasai no Yousei - N.Y. Salad in the Children’s Works category. The animation film festival will be held in Brussels, Belgium from February 1 to 9, 2008.
