A promotional video for the new Rumbling Hearts anime, Rumbling Hearts ~Next Season~ has been posted on the official website. The original series was released on DVD in North America by Funimation.
Studio Ghibli has opened the official website for its upcoming anime film, gake no Ue no Ponyo (Ponyo on a Cliff), directed by the renowned Hayao Miyazaki. The anime movie will be released in 2008.

Bang Zoom! Entertainment announced they will be screening a 30-minute preview of its latest video production, Adventures in Voice Acting: Anime · Games · Animation, at the New York Anime Festival on Saturday, December 8th at noon in the Live Action Screening Room. Canadian publisher Drawn and Quarterly announced its plans to release the third volume of gekiga manga Good-Bye by Yoshihiro Tatsumi in May 2008. The gekiga manga is a collection of short stories, originally published in 1971.
ADV Films has released the cast and primary staff list for its English release of Project Blue Earth. Charles Campbell will be the ADR Director and is in charge of the script, and Adam Weber will be translating. Voice actor list after the jump.
ADV’s English Kanon series will premiere December 28 on the Anime Network, North America’s largest anime VOD service. ADV will be releasing the first DVD volume of Kanon on January 1, 2008.

Viz Media has announced the January 2008 issue of Shonen Jump, on sale December 4, will feature the return of Naruto (after a two month break), three new Bleach chapters, a Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card, and a first look of the One Piece: Unlimited Adventure Nintendo Wii video game. Summer Days with Coo (Kappa no Coo to Natsuyasumi), Keiichi Hara’s anime movie will be screened at the 4th annual Dubai International Film Festival on December 15. This will be the only anime movie screened at the event, however Yabuhiro Namashita’s live action adaptation of the Tennen Kokekko manga by Fusako Kuramochi will also be featured.
BS-Fuji announced it will air an anime and live-action hybrid series titled Moegaku*5 on January 14, 2008. The series is based on the Moegaku language education software.
Bandai Entertainment announced its plans for the New York Anime Festival, including a Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion panel on Saturday, December 8 and a panel for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime on December 9. Bandai Entertainment will also be revealing a new anime license on December 9 at the anime convention.
Tokyopop announced they will be filming a mockumentary of the Van Von Hunter graphic novels at the New York Anime Festival on December 8. The publishing company invites fans to join them at their panel in order to appear in the film; Van Von Hunter cosplayers will also receive prizes!
