ICv2 has posted the top 100 best selling graphic novels for September 2007. Unsurprisingly, all three Naruto volume releases in September (vol. 16-18) made it into the top 10.The list is comprised of information from Diamond US and select comic stores.

Hopefully! I blame stress at work and Team Fortress 2 for our lack of anime news and reviews in the past few weeks. I should now be able to manage my time more efficiently and get caught up. You will most likely see old news, retractions, and updates in the next few days as we make our way through the heap of information we’ve missed. Voice actors Yukana, Kenjiro Tsuda, director Hiroyuki Tanaka, character designer Takahiro Umehara, and musical guests The Candy Spooky Theatre and D&L have been announced as special guests for the November 9-11 Pacific Media Expo convention in Los Angeles
A 5-centimeter figure collection for the Lucky Star anime series has been announced by FREEing. The line will contain six figures (5 currently revealed), releasing in January 2008 for ¥420 (about US$3.60) per figure.
IGN is streaming the first full episode of ADV Film’s Pumpkin Scissors here. The first North American DVD of the series was released on October 23, available at Righstuf and other anime and video retailers.
Atari announced on October 8th that its Infogrames Entertainment subsidiary company removed James Ackerly, Ronald C. Bernard, Michael G. Corrigan, Denis Guyennot, and Ann E. Kronen from Atari’s Board of Directors. Atari has been best known in the North American anime industry for releasing the Dragonball Z console games.

The UK’s Leeds Film Festival will be screening Tekkonkinkreet, Vexille, and the first two Death Note live-action films during its November 7-18 event.
Manga Entertainment has released a promotional video for the “hip, flashy, funkily fragmented” UK release of the Bleach anime.
NEO magazine reports that MVM has licensed Witchblade and Black Lagoon for English UK DVD releases, both of which have yet to be officially confirmed by MVM.
Ontario’s OMNI television network will be airing the two live-action NANA movies on October 20 and 27, 2007 at 8:00pm. OMNI has confirmed both movies will air in Japanese with Chinese subtitles.

The official website for the Genshiken Doujin Convention has opened. The Genshiken event commences on May 5th, 2008 at the Tokyo Industry Trade Center; it is expected to be limited to 60 doujin groups.
A Halloween-themed j-pop event will be held in London on October 20th at Cafe Manga, near the Westminster Brdige of County Hall. The event will be put on by J-Pop Go and admission tickets cost £5 (available here).
A new CG Thundercats film is planned for production, animated by Topcraft and directed by Jerry O’Flaherty.
Naruto has continued its manga domination with the three most recent volume releases breaking into the USA Today Top 150 Booklist for the week of October 1 - 7. Volume 19 debuted at rank #82, vol. 20 at #77, and vol. 21 ranks in at #69. Viz Media’s Bleach vol. 21 also jumped onto the list at #109.

Canada’s YTV television network has confirmed the premiere of the Death Note anime series for Friday, October 26 at 10:00pm (ET/PT). Death Note was previously scheduled to debut on the network on September 7, 2007, but was removed from the lineup with no explanation.
Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa is also scheduled to air on YTV Friday, October 19 at 9:00pm (ET/PT).
The 108-episode Yatterman anime that originally aired from 1977 to 1979 will be remade and return to Japanese TV in January 2008, airing every Monday at 7:00pm. A live-action Yatterman theatrical film, directed by Takashi Miike, is also in production and expected to debut in the Spring of 2009.
Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine confirmed the second season of the Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei anime and is currently expected to air in the Spring 2008 lineup.
The London MCM Expo announced the Afro Samurai mangaka Takashi Okazaki will make a guest appearance at the October 20-21 convention. Laura Bailey, Colleen Clinkenbeard, and Johnny Yong Bosch will also attend as guests.
