Pokemon USA announced the inevitable: a new Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion, entitled Pokemon Diamond & Pearl: Secret Wonders. This new set will consist of 130 cards on sale November 7, including new Pokemon Diamond & Pearl pokemon. This expansion will be available in two 60-card themes, Powerhouse and Lavaflow, retailing for $11.99; 10-card booster packs will also go on sale for $3.79.

The Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone anime movie has dropped to the second place in the Japanese Box Office for the September 8-9 weekend. It was bumped down with the debut of Hero. The only other anime making the list is Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai, which has dropped to the #10 spot in its ninth week.

The Evangelion movie remake, Evangelion: 1.0 You are (Not) Alone, took the first place in this past weekend’s box office in Japan. Nikkatsu is stating the movie was screened before 236,158 people, bringing in more than Â¥280 million (roughly US$2.4 million). The movie premiered in only 84 theaters.

The Pokemon movie, Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Dialga vs Palkia vs Darkrai, dropped to the #9 position after eight weeks in the top 10. The Saiyuki live action film has dropped to the #10 position.
