    Bleach DVD #6 Bleach DVD #6 is the beginning to one of the best story arcs in anime I have ever seen. Unlike most shounen anime, fights in the Bleach Soul Society arc are fast-paced, loaded with substance and never dull.

    Hikaru no Go DVD #10 This is a perfect example of an anime I've continuously put off to the side for later, and yet when i finally get aroudn to it I fall in love with the series and beat myself up for not viewing it earlier!

    Naruto the Movie DVD The latest mission for our favorite ninja team? Protect and escort a spoiled actress to her next film set. Oh, and keep her from running away of course!

Lucky Star Figures in January 2008

A 5-centimeter figure collection for the Lucky Star anime series has been announced by FREEing. The line will contain six figures (5 currently revealed), releasing in January 2008 for ¥420 (about US$3.60) per figure.

High Lucky Star DVD Sales

Kodokawa Shoten reports that each DVD volume of the Lucky Star series has sold over 50,000 copies, currently totaling around 530,000 with its current 8 Lucky Star DVD releases. Four more volume releases are expected with high hopes of reaching the staggering amount of DVD sales that the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise has obtained.

Lucky Star Character Songs Debut in Oricon’s Top 20

Four of the Lucky Star character song singles (released September 5) have debuted in Oricon’s Weekly Top 20 music chart. Konata is ranking in at #8, Kagami at #9, Tsukasa #11, and Miyuki takes the #15 position.
