    Bleach DVD #6 Bleach DVD #6 is the beginning to one of the best story arcs in anime I have ever seen. Unlike most shounen anime, fights in the Bleach Soul Society arc are fast-paced, loaded with substance and never dull.

    Hikaru no Go DVD #10 This is a perfect example of an anime I've continuously put off to the side for later, and yet when i finally get aroudn to it I fall in love with the series and beat myself up for not viewing it earlier!

    Naruto the Movie DVD The latest mission for our favorite ninja team? Protect and escort a spoiled actress to her next film set. Oh, and keep her from running away of course!

Manga Entertainment has announced it has struck a deal with Microsoft to begin distributing its licensed anime episodes for download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Such anime include the 1980 remake of Astro Boy, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Noein, Street Fighter II V, Tokko, and Virus. Manga Entertainment will also be offering the GITS:SAC episodes on Amazon’s Unbox video service.

While the HD-DVD format has been less than dormant, Blu-ray continues to gradually push its way into the anime community. A Japanese release of the Yukikaze Box Set is set to release on January 25, 2008 for ¥26040.

Furthermore, UK online retailer, Play.com, has re-listed a Blu-ray release of Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society, citing an October 15, 2007 debut.
